Copy once. Paste whenever you want.
A free clipboard manager for Mac. Keep text, links and images for 30 days, and save favorites for longer.

Find it in your clipboard history.
Open History at the top of your screen, search your recent copies, and paste into the app you were using. Save text, formatted text, links, images, and references to local files or videos.
- ⌘⇧V
- Open History from anywhere.
- 30 days
- Recent copies stay on this Mac. Favorites stay beyond automatic expiry.
- Search
- Find a link, command, note, or address. Filter and search your favorites too.
- Formatting
- Keep supported RTF and HTML formatting, or choose a plain-text paste.
- Menu bar
- Paste one of your five most recent entries straight from the Qipli menu, without opening History. Finish or cancel an active stack first.
- Control
- Delete a single entry or clear your Qipli history whenever you need to.

Copy a bunch. Paste one by one.
Collect text, formatted text, and images, then paste them one by one with Command-V. Reorder the stack or reverse its direction before you paste.
- 1Start a stack
Press Command-Shift-C to copy the first item.
- 2Keep copying
Press Command-Shift-C for each additional item. Qipli remembers the order.
- 3Paste normally
Press Command-V to paste each item in order.
Need an item again? Command-Shift-Z reactivates the last used item. Escape cancels the stack. The compact panel previews your next item and expands when you interact with it. These are the default shortcuts.
Cut and move files in Finder.
Select local files in Finder, press Command-X, then open the destination folder and press Command-V. Qipli hands the move to Finder, which handles conflicts and the file operation.
- Preview
- A compact panel shows the prepared files. They stay in their original location until you paste.
- Cancel
- Close the panel before pasting to cancel the pending move. Copying something else also clears it.
- Finder only
- For local files, not folders or other file managers. Finish or cancel Paste Stack first. Outside an active stack or Finder Cut, Command-V works normally.
Your clipboard stays yours.
History is stored locally. Qipli has no account, telemetry, cloud sync, or automatic crash reporting. The app connects to the network only for update checks and downloads you control.
Copied passwords and API keys can enter History. Qipli does not automatically filter secrets. The optional Windows vote on this website sends a hash of a browser token, the requested platform, and the button source. It does not send clipboard content.
Make Qipli work for you.
Free and open source, for macOS 14 or newer. No account required.
Can I change the keyboard shortcuts?
Set your own shortcuts for History, Paste Stack, and Reactivate Previous in Settings, or restore the defaults. You can also choose to launch Qipli when you log in.
Does Qipli keep copies of my files?
History stores copied inline images locally. Files and videos are references to the originals, not backups. The original file must still be available when you paste it.
How do I install and update Qipli?
Download the DMG, open it, and drag Qipli to Applications. The optional onboarding explains setup and Accessibility permission. Check for Updates is available in the menu bar and Settings. Periodic checks are off until you enable them.
Why does Qipli need Accessibility permission?
Qipli uses Accessibility to handle shortcuts and send paste commands to your active app. You can review permission status in Settings.
Is there a Windows version?
Qipli is currently available for Mac. Request Windows registers anonymous interest in a future version; it does not download a Windows app.
A better way to copy and paste.
Free, open source, and built for macOS 14 or newer.
Accessibility permission enables global shortcuts and Paste Stack.
